Market Research
That Ends The Guessing.

Find out before you spend. Research for businesses in Nova Scotia and across Atlantic Canada: who your customers are, what they choose today, and what would make them choose you. It feeds straight into the strategy and the creative, because the same team does both.

Straight Answers

§04 / FAQ
What kind of market research do you do?+
Research that leads to a decision: customer interviews, competitor and category reviews, audience definition, message testing, and surveys. It's sized to the question, so a small business isn't paying for an enterprise study.
How is this different from a research firm?+
A research firm hands you a report. We use the findings ourselves in the positioning, the copy, and the design, so nothing is lost between the people who learned it and the people who make the work.
Do we need research before branding?+
If you can't yet say who it's for and why they'd choose you, yes. If customers are already paying and telling you why, a lighter review is enough.
Can a startup do its own research?+
Yes, and it should. Our startup marketing quiz lays out the free version: ten conversations with people who are not friends or family.
Do you work outside Halifax?+
Yes. Interviews and surveys run remotely, so we work with businesses across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador, and beyond.
How do we start?+
Email us or hit Get Started. Tell us what you're making and what's standing in the way. We'll take it from there.
